The elderly in the nursing home have a bath with care of the staffs. Although the number of these homes is increasing, the data of loads of hot water consumption on their bathing is insufficient for the design and the planning. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of the hot water consumption of bathing in the homes. In the bathrooms of the certain nursing home, the quantity and the temperature of hot water were measured through the year and the observation survey was carried out in each of three seasons. This paper shows the monthly consumption and the daily consumption for filling bathtubs, having a bath and cleaning of each bathtub.
