This paper describes the performance evaluation of domestic hot water supply systems using a storage tank. First, experimental conditions on the four types of CO_2 heat pump water heaters were mentioned. Second, experiments on the hot water consumption and the performance of CO_2 heat pump water heaters for one month were carried out based on the modified M1 mode as a standard hot water usage mode. Operational results on hot water loads, amounts of thermal storage in the tank, HPCOP and SCOP were shown.
