Abstract
Air distribution in indoor environment is crucial to comfort and health of occupants and HVAC engineers conduct numerical prediction of airflow and temperature distribution in indoors based on CFD technique. Recently various commercial CFD tools including numerous turbulence models have been developed. It is important to comprehend the generality and robustness of the commercial CFD tools for various indoor environmental analyses. The overarching objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of various turbulence models by using detailed experimental data.
