In commercial kitchen, huge ventilation rate is needed to exhaust combustion gas and contaminant generated by cooking. To use the efficient kitchen hood is essential because of energy-saving and comfortable working environment. The purpose of this study is to develop the exhaust hood with high capture efficiency. In this paper, the influence of the baffle plate inside the exhaust hood on the capture efficiency was investigated by experiment and was also compared with the results of CFD analysis in the previous paper.
