The report shows experiment results of energy consumption comparison between Gas Cooktops and Electric Induction Cooktops. A series of experiments have been carefully designed, conducted with equal testing conditions and thus compared. The result shows that Gas Cooktops consumed roughly 40% less energy than Electric Induction Heating Cooktops, with a reasonable consistency performed by 10 testees. The author also reported an alternative testing result using one well-experienced cook with repeating tests, showing a promising result, which may allow replacing a series of testings with 10 testees by one experienced cook test results in some particular dishes.
