The present paper describes the equipment configuration and the function of the energy consumption monitoring system - so called Mieruka (visualization) system - installed in the twelve buildings on the campus of Hokkaido Institute of Technology. The system, finished in December 2009, has functions to measure the air temperature of each room, the power consumption of equipments and the fuel consumption of heat source equipments such as boilers and absorption refrigerator. And the system transmits those data instantaneously to LAN. Moreover, appropriate solutions for energy conservation of the campus will be obtained.
