Global warming measures are desired, in addition to reducing CO2, for improvement of the dwelling environment that is appropriate for the climate and the trait in the region. In snowy region, there are attaching windbreak space in front of the entrance used usually as the place for brushing off snow and the depository for tools of raking away snow. The purpose of this study is to clarify the realities and the effectiveness of the place. In this paper, it introduces the result of the field survey on thermal environment and of the study on profit use of the place.
