In this study, in order to grasp the building equipment function in the interruption period of lifeline functions, the survey of the Government Buildings in the disaster area of Great East Japan Earthquake was carried out. The number of these reply buildings was 24. And in survey-responses buildings, the interruption situations of lifeline functions, the alternative ways in that case, and the required duration and required grade of building functions were analyzed.
