The purpose of this research is to verify the effect of the double skins façade to atrium. Field measurements of the atrium with multistory double skins facade were conducted to evaluate its thermal performance. Additionally, simulation based on field measurement was conducted to compare the thermal environment of the atrium by the alteration of the condition of the double skin facades and the atrium. Consequently, the effect of the present double skin facades was revealed.
