A predicting model is studied for the local thermal sensation under the conditions of transient and non-uniform thermal environment based on the steady state predicting model OTn. The local thermal sensations under the cool down conditions in a car cabin are predicted by the present and Zhang models to study the prediction accuracy. The appropriate results can be obtained by comparing the present model with the subjected experiments on the whole.
