Five new variable air functions have been implemented in the office chair type personal air conditioner "Cool Chair". An experiment was conducted to evaluate the impressions of the variable air functions. The variable airflow function as a whole was used in a large percentage of the experiments and was generally well received in the questionnaire. However, for each mode, the sin wave was unpopular, and the other variable wind functions had different preferences depending on the individual.
