The method to dam up the flow of the ground water by means of the cementation process into faults is sometimes carried out in our mine, but when their positions are not exactly assumed, or it is not easy to set a crosscut, we must devise another method which dam up one part of a gallery, which connects as near as to a water gushing point, by injection sand and cement through boreholes of the floor of a drifted crosscut for this purpose, and we have successfully applied this method for the recovery of the submerged part of the Tuzura. Mine.
