The relation between the ventilation pressure, effective and leakage air volumes and total length of an air duct was studied analytically for two cases, namely the leakage air volume is proportional to and to the 4th power of the pressure difference across the pipe wall.
These results were shown on two graphs for the use in designing or discussing the air duct ventilation.
