Considering that Compositions of actually produced sulphureus flue dusts always vary not only as to the S-percent but also as to the constitution of the incombustible part, the anther's first report which dealt with the effect of varying S-content upon the explosibility of flue dusts must be supplemented by the experiments on the incombustible part. To begine with, the artificially mixed binary dusts which contain S and one incombustible constituent were studied with the results that the most of the explosion limit were about 70-90% incombustibles, that of MgO was less than 70%, that of FeS and some others were over 90%. The relation between the efficacies of suppressors and their specific heats was not established; on the contrary, it was thought to be more natural to investigate the efficacy from the standpoint of chemical kinetics. In the study of ternary dusts, the effect of co-existence of two incombustibles was examined. Generally speaking, the explosive and the non-explosive ranges expresed in ternary diagram, were devided by the straight line and thus, there will be no probability of sudden enlargement of explosion range when the dust is mixed with some special incombustible elements. It was concluded that, in rough estimation of explosion limit, slight variations in composition of incombustible part may be properly ignored.
