流砂の低温における圧縮並びに引張強さについて

抄録

The sand was brought from Hirose River and was used to make samples in this experiment. The samples of this sand, containing 32.5% of water, were made in cylindrical forms in the vessel, and cooled in the liquid N₂ or in cryogens. Then their tensile and compressive strengths were examined.
As results, those strengths were increased as the decrease of the temperature.
