In the process of aeration of impeller, little has been known about the effects imposed by the variation of forms, measures, the number of blade and rotation ofthe impeller, application of baffle vane, etc. in relation to the quantity of the pulp, the ratio of the air mixed, upon the difference of the flow patterns of bubbles in and out of the impeller.
The author, using a testing apparatus built of transparent body, took the pictures of flowpatterns in and out of the impeller, only restricting to the case of the air and water and he presented some explanations illustrating the above problems in summary.
