Horonai shaft was planned for ventilation and winding of men, refuses and materials for the purpose of the rationalization of Horonai Colliery. Sinking operation was simultaneous method with moving steel shuttering and crawler rocker shovel.
We begun to sink on Febrary and it was bottomed at its final depth of 800 meters on December. 1965.
130m of finished shaft was sunk on July.
