ORiN is a standard specification to provide PC application programs with an unified access interface to various machine equipments through the network. RAP (Robot Access Protocol), which is an Internet protocol for utilizing ORiN through the Internet, has been developed. In this paper, we introduce a message format and an architecture of RAP.
