A ratiometer of three-cross-coil type as shown in Fig. 1 is discussed. The moving part, consisting of three coils fixed each other, rests at a certain angle when in equilibrium, and the angle shows the ratio of electric currents in the coils. A ratiometer of this type is useful when one of the currents may become 0, for example, when very high electric resistance is measured. A conductivitymeter of this type is discussed. Its circuit is shown in Fig. 3. The pole pieces are cut as shown in Fig. 4, so that the magnetic field changes, resulting in the change of scale distribution. This is applied to a conductivitymeter of H2SO4 for improving the distribution.
