Abstract

The Hankel norm model reduction problem for discrete-time systems with time-varying state delay is investigated. This paper focuses on the construction of reduced-order models under the Hankel norm error criterion. Two different linear matrix inequality approaches are proposed. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the methods.
