Motivated by atmospheric re-entry of aerospace vehicles, this paper is concerned with inverse analyses of highly dynamical heat flux. The analytical model is given by three dimensional heat diffusion equation with unknown boundary parameters. The computational methods for identifying heat flux are proposed using the idea of output least square problem. The proposed algorithm is successfully tested with experimental data.
