In this paper, we propose a new approach for synthesizing low order H∞ controllers without using the rational approximation of the D-scale in the DK-iteration. This approach can be executed on the frequency domain. The sequence of the H∞ norm of the scaled closed-loop function is guaranteed to be nonincreasing.
