This paper discusses the sway of center of gravity (CG) in upright posture. In a screening for scoliosis, it is preferable to keep subjects in upright posture during measurement. In the conventional Moiré topography techniques, a positioner which is inclined 10 degrees forward is used to keep the subjects at upright position. In this paper, we evaluate sway of the CG of human when supporting shoulder and/or pelvis by using the balance board used for gaming system. The effectiveness of supporting the pelvis is examined through the experimental data.
