日本語部門は、海谷千波先生、叶尤奇先生と共に二期目の活動となりました。会員の皆様より多数のご投稿を賜り、心より御礼申し上げます。また、ご多忙の中、査読を快くお引き受けくださり、丁寧なご助言をお寄せくださいました先生方にも、深く感謝申し上げます。おかげさまで第28号は、異文化間コミュニケーション学の多様な展開と学問的豊かさを示す号となりました。

今年度より、John Peloghitis先生を英語部門の編集委員長にお迎えし、その丁寧で誠実なお仕事に支えられながら、編集部にも新しい風が吹き始めています。また、今期をもちまして、海谷千波先生が編集委員を退任されます。これまで本誌の発展に多大なお力添えを賜りましたことに、心より感謝申し上げます。次号からは、新たに水松巳奈先生をお迎えいたします。

異文化間の相互理解とコミュニケーションをめぐる課題が、グローバル化とITの進展によって一層複雑化している現代において、本ジャーナルは、異文化間の知の往還を促すプラットフォームとして、学際的研究の深化に寄与して参ります。今後とも、会員の皆様の積極的なご投稿とご支援を心よりお願い申し上げます。

From the Editors

It is with great pride and a sense of accomplishment that we present this year’s edition of the journal. As you will see from the articles within, SIETAR Japan continues to foster vibrant conversations at the intersection of intercultural communication, uniting voices from a range of disciplines and cultural perspectives. The topics explored in this year’s edition challenge our assumptions and encourage deeper reflection on the complexities of our interconnected world. In serving as the editor of the English content, it has been an incredible privilege to work on this year’s edition of the journal. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the steering committee for entrusting me with this significant responsibility. Above all, I am deeply grateful to the SIETAR members, particularly the editors and reviewers, whose ongoing commitment and energy serve as a constant reminder of why this work matters.
