Abstract
Two specimens of semi-terrestrial sesarmid crab Parasesarma plicatum were collected from Katano-hama mud-flat in Ainan Town, Ehime prefecture, southern Japan. This represents the first record of this species from Ehime Prefecture, and Katano-hama mud-flat is the fifth locality for this species on Shikoku Island, southern Japan.
