A case of genital Paget's disease in a 79-year-old female treated with intralesional recombinant interferon-α-2a (rIFN-α-2a) is reported. The tumor cells disappeared histopathologically after injection of 132, 000, 000 IU of rlFN-α-2a. Leukopenia was noted with 5 times/week administration, while not noted with 3 times/week administrations. No other side effect was noted. At 9 months after the end of rIFN-α-2a administration, local recurrence was seen. Deeper cut of the specimen obtained at the end of rIFN-α-2a injection revealed rests of Paget's cells.
