Characteristic features of an SU(7) GUT are discussed, in which the fundamental representation 7 consists of SU(5)'5 and its two singlets with the charge q=±1/2. So-called survival hypothesis for fermions is naturally evaded by a kind of electric charge conservation due to q=±1/2, and a brief comment on the suppression of ν_<eL> mass is given also.
