The successive process of the marine attaching organisms on the test plates of cathodically protected mild steel using aluminum alloy anode method, of the control mild steel and FRP plate were observed at 3 meters depth for 650 days at Nishiura-kishoh, Suruga Bay, Sizuoka, Japan. In both the amount and kind of attaching organisms, the cathodically protected mild steel surface changed the most, next FRP little less, and the control of cathodic protection steel the least. Besides in particular, it was confirmed that cathodically protected mild steel surface could be kept to attach the dominance species of attaching organisms onto the surface with corrosion protection.
