Abstract
In order to share knowledge, participants should keep same understanding to that knowledge. Individual’s reading capability strongly affects “Understanding of document”. It is, therefore, that the reading comprehension is a key factor in the knowledge-sharing. In this study, the authors propose an integrated procedure for sharing knowledge and specifying shared knowledge. In this procedure, a recognized structure of a technical document is visualized by ISM method, and the ISM structures made by the participants are merged into a common ISM structure through a participants’ group discussion based on the structural differences in each ISM structure. The shared knowledge is specified by an inverse analysis of the original document. Further, applicability of the proposed procedure is studied with categorized experimental subjects.
