Abstract
The quantitative management is the method that is effective to achieve the aim of the project. The project can make an objective decision by measuring the state of the project quantitatively, and the correspondence that is proactive is enabled and, as a result, can achieve a project aim. However, it was supposed a problem to be weak contribution degree to the business and to be low management precision even if I carried out quantitative management in us. We performed gap analysis based on a process of CMMI level 4 to improve this problem and applied an improved process and evaluated it. As a result, we understood that it was important that considered business target and a project characteristic to practice an effective quantitative management process. This report introduces this improvement example.
