Abstract
It is the best way to finish digging up the problem and project risks at the upstream process. What should be decided in the upstream process is neatly decided, and the development vender can keep system requirement by confirming whether the quality of design only to enter the development process of leading to the back (in general, contract work) is secured, and giving the judgment whether to complete the process, and it is possible to yield satisfaction to the customer. Our company uses the phase gate measure to improve the quality of the project from the stage of inquiry, and the upstream process completion judgment is one of the gates. The effect is shown as a big deficit decreases greatly in the big project. The effect such as decreases in the deficit matter is being reported our related companies and other system development venders who are executing a similar measure. This paper describes the effects of various measures and the assessment elements to decide the completion judgment in the upstream process, and the problem that the directionality in the future is shown.
