Abstract
Self-motivation often determines the result of work. Motivations have been investigated over many years in many fields including project management, and effective ways for self-motivation have been proposed and used. However, new de-motivation factors have been emerged. For examples, advancements in life science are elucidating the unknowns in the past. IT creates huge amount of data today, and even personal opinions can be grasped. Contrary to these progresses, new de-motivation factors are emerging, such as recognizing one's fate, realizing severe realities, or growing impacts of a little failure via the network world. This paper summarizes typical self-motivation ways up to now, and proposes the need of studies to overcome new de-motivation factors.
