Abstract
As social demand increases to the technology transfer from a university, the needs of a university researcher and a company to TLO are also diversified. Although the role of TLO is producing an intellectual creation cycle based on the patent of a researcher, it is necessary to concentrate neither on patent application, nor its management shortsighted, but to aim at target achievement as a member of 'The Industrialization Project of Technology Seeds' centering on the researcher who is also a client of TLO. This paper introduces about the measure of technology transfer centering on TLO, and considers the validity of the technique of project management based on the example of Osaka University which succeeded in technology transfer in the form of establishment of a university venture.
