Abstract
We investigated if GRK2 was involved in RV failure in a rat model of PAH. We utilized SAXS in the in situ beating heart at BL40XU to establish if GRK2 inhibition with paroxetine could prevent changes in myosin mass transfer to actin. Despite high mortality in PAH rats, our findings revealed that paroxetine-induced changes in myosin mass transfer that correlated with improved RV function.
