Abstract
In the conventional methods of fluidized bed granulating only the porous and surfacecoarse granules have been able to be produced.
In this study, the new method was developed to improve these defects that the conventional methods had possessed.
In the conventional methods, the drying process comes after the spraying process is finished. As only the agglomeration of particles occurred in the spraying process, even the weak structure of granules were not destroyed in this process. As a result, porous. granules are produced in this method.
On the other hand, when the spraying and the drying are mutually repeated in the spraying process, the growth of particle is promoted while the weak structure of granules, are destroyed. As a result, the compactness and the smoothness of granules is promoted.
When spraying and agitating are mutually repeated instead of spraying and drying in the spraying process, the compactness and the smoothness of granules are greatly promoted.
