This paper attempts to find the guidelines for improvement in the prefectural hospital management .First of all, I selected several guidelines that are to have an effect upon the earning rate and examined the correlation coefficient between them. Next, I statistically analyzed the difference between the guidelines of hospitals in the black and ones in the red. The result shows that the earning rate can be explained on the basis of the bed occupancy rate and the ratio of staff salary in earnings.
