Abstract

This paper estimated the effects of information-related sectors in inducing production and employment. With regard to production, (1)“Communication” sector had weak effect in inducing but strong effect in being induced.(2)“Broadcasting” sector had strong effect in inducing but weak effect in being induced. (3)“Other information and communication” sector had strong effect both in inducing and in being induced. With regard to employment, all the information-related sectors had weak effect in inducing.
