A study on OpenData initiatives of municipal government

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the OpenData initiatives of municipal governments in Japan. The authors conducted a questionnaire survey to understand how municipal governments work on OpenData. In this paper, our survey were carried out from three points of views: a genre of data are released, criteria for requesting data provision, and cooperation from other departments.
