A Consideration about “Local conglomerates” towards Utilization of Public and Private Data

Abstract

"Local conglomerates" which have developed business in a multifaceted and diversified way are key players in promoting the use of "public-private data" in each region. I analyzed their circumstances of business diversification and considered their potentials based on arrangement and discussion of the scope of activities, the details of the business. As a result, it was clarified that the local conglomerates are divided into "daimyo" and "barons" by the width of their activity range, and it was possible to classify it into the type of energy business, transportation business, and the real estate system, and so on.
