“Judgement” Struggle against Institutional Racism in the BLM Movement

Abstract

Through an analysis of the repertoire of protests used by the BLM (Black Lives Matter) movement, this paper reveals the aspect of the BLM movement that is not a protest against current political power, but a struggle by “judgement” against structural racial problems in the United States.
