Science and Technology initiated by Diversity

Abstract

Diversity has not yet been considered an important factor in science and technology. Recently, it has been clarified that gender difference is a key factor in economic value of the patents and success of the entrepreneurs in Japan, leading that diversity is an essential determinant for research and development of science and technology, and societal sustainability. Furthermore, redefinition of gender equality, which can create societal benefits for all the people, will be shown.
