Abstract
Surface Science stands together with vacuum technology. Creating a clean surface and applying TPD for characterizing surface species are not only the necessity but without utilizing deferential pumping techniques, electronic state of surface at solid-liquid or liquid-liquid interfaces is not possible. For studying single-molecule spectroscopy, UHV and low temperature condition are necessary and further for the study of spin state of surface species, applying magnetic field become crucial. I will present some results only obtainable under such extreme conditions.
