Microscopic analysis of lipid membranes using dielectric measurement

Abstract

We have examined the interfacial dynamics of vesicles composed of phospholipids and surfactans, by using the dielectric dispersion analysis method. This analysis allows us to evaluate the fluid state of vesicular surfaces and their phase-separation nature. Besides, the above analysis gave the implication regarding the morphology of vesicles. Thus, we could clarify how the interfacial dynamics of vesicles affected the vesicle-biomolecules interaction.
