The Taiwan Photon Source, a 3 GeV synchrotron light source, has started commissioning since Dec. 31, 2014, and achieved the primary goals of beam current 100 mA at top-off operation with life time about 6 hours in 3 months. The dynamic pressure of 1.2 nPa/mA during beam cleaning to the beam dose of 33 Ah reflects the good vacuum performance of the electron storage ring. The concept of construction the large aluminum vacuum systems and the achievement for this project will be described.
