抄録

As an environmentally friendly antioxidant, Ascorbic acid has recently attained great attention in the synthesis of reduced graphene oxide. In this work we have reduced graphene oxide, synthesized via modified Hummers’ method, by utilizing ascorbic acid as the reductant. The time dependence for the reduction was investigated from UV-Visible spectroscopy and the synthesized products were further characterized by XRay Diffraction, Xray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectra and Thermogravimetric analysis.
