Into the 0.100-0.033 mol solutions of NaF, KF, and NI-14F each, I put rhinogobius similis Gill, tadpole and tubificidae, and measured the lethal time of those animals respectively. Between these measurements and the concentrations of those fluorides mentioned above I could verify the existence of Ostwald's equation of toxic action, and found the equations concerned by the method of the least squares, whose constant numbers were further pursued and investigated comparatively. Though the toxicity of fluorides (NaF, KF, NH4F) on rhinogobius similis Gill, tadpoles and tubificidae is varied according to each fluoride and to each animal, generally speaking, the toxicity of fluorides, with the exception of NH4F, was observed to act the strongest on. tubificidae
