In this paper, a case of locally advanced and unresectable osteosarcoma of the cheek region, which was treated with combination therapy using hyperthermia, irradiation and chemotherapy, is reported. The patient was a 51-year-old female with recurrent osteosarcoma in cheek region which was 60×70×80 mm. She received a total of 50 Gy 60 Co irradiation. 2 Gy each day for five days a week. Simultaneously, four-time RF-hyperthermia was performed once a week.
Afterward, she received chemotherapy using high-dose Methotrexate and THP-adriamycin. The effects of the above combined therapy was CR, with no recurrence of the tumor.
