This paper deals with a two-layered pipe rehabilitation method made of a PVC pipe and a spiral FRP. First, flattening tests were simulated by contact analysis of FEA considering interaction between layers. It was confirmed that the contact analysis successfully simulated the test. Then acceptable thickness of PVC and FRP which meets design criteria was calculated by the contact analysis, and the results were compared with those by the design equations assuming the independency and uniformity between layers. The results of the contact analysis were similar to the results by the design equation assuming the indepenency of layers, and the required thickness by the contact analysis is 1mm thinner than that by the design equation assuming the independency of layers.
