This study investigated the uni-axial dynamic compressive properties of PP and PVA fiber reinforced cementitious composites (FRCC) at high strain rates by conducting static and dynamic uni-axial compression tests. Experimental results revealed that the DIFs of the compressive strength properties of the FRCC were higher than those of plain concrete. At high strain rates of 100-1011/s, PP-FRC exhibited brittle fracture at high strain rates, even though it showed higher toughness in static loading. On the other hand, although PVA-FRC exhibited moderate compressive strength and fracture energy in static loading, it exhibited higher DIFs of the compressive strength and toughness at high strain rates.
