In this study, slip tests were conducted to evaluate the slip behavior of high - strength friction joints using environmentally conscious high -strength bolts (CEB). Four joint conditions were considered: rough surface, inorganic zinc coating, enlarged hole, and enlarged hole with bolt eccentricity. Comparative tests were performed using both the CEB and conventional high-strength hexagon bolts (HTB). As a result, the CEB showed slightly higher axial force relaxation and slightly lower slip coefficients compared to the HTB, but the differences were small, with a maximum of 4%. These findings confirm that the CEB provides slip performance equivalent to that of the HTB.
